Job Overview

Oversee and directs all aspects Marketing activities of the group. Develop, implement, maximize, monitors and evaluates the Group’s marketing strategy. Overseeing the planning and development of each hotels promotional strategies and marketing plans; assisting with the development and implementation of the group and individual properties sales and marketing plans.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Have good knowledge of the eCommerce space, including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, consumer research, using the best practices and industrial trends, brand positioning
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Evaluating and developing the marketing strategy and marketing plan.
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and profile within industry bodies, local communities and relevant associations to maintain and drive revenue opportunities.
  • Manage all hotel brand contacts including all sales and marketing communications, to enforce and maintain the hotel’s brand positioning and outlined in the hotel’s Annual Business Plan.
  • With support from individual hotels Directors of Sales and Marketing teams prepares, utilises and updates the hotels annual marketing plan, delegated as necessary by division and/or department.
  • Implements strategic marketing process, maximising the available marketing data including hotel Intouch Data, STR, Revinate, Delphi/ Opera catering system and World Hotels distribution systems in order to make sound decisions.
  • Constantly monitors and evaluates local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels andinitiatives to ensure that the hotel’s marketing and operations remain competitive and cutting edge.
  • In conjunction with individual hotels, develop and innovate new and existing leisure packages.
  • Manages integrated marketing communications, including hotel advertising, promotions, collateral, and e-marketing, making sure that they are targeted, effective in producing a reasonable ROI, within budget, and comply with Stamford Hotels & Resorts brand standards, policies and procedures.
  • Oversees all marketing communications, e-marketing, and public relations activities to support the objectives outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.
  • Working with all hotels to ensure weekly yield meetings and monthly strategic meetings are held to develop and adjust marketing strategies and short-term pricing and channel tactics.
  • Recommends changes in basic structure and organisation of sales and marketing teams to ensure the effective fulfilment of Stamford Hotels & Resorts objectives assigned and provide flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities.

 

Requirements

  • At least a Degree in Business Management/Marketing/Advertising/Media or equivalent
  • At least 5 to 10 years of e-Commerce experience and has passion working in hospitality industry
  • Have relevant knowledge, background, and capability in e-Commerce marketing (SEM/SEO management, EDM,search)
  • Will be managing hotels in both Australia and New Zealand.
  • Profiency in Google Analytics and Adobe
  • Strong written and communication skills with a talent for copywriting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box with solutions that are scalable, sustainable, yet most cost effective
  • Possess good presentation skills with ability to communicate with a diverse group of people
  • Comfortable with leading and driving ideas independently
  • With people management skills will be plus
  • Position will be based in Singapore but will require to travel from time to time when needed
