Job Overview
To grow and generate business in the corporate segment as well as managing existing relationship for the busines to maximize revenue potential. Act as key liaison between clients and hotels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of key clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and hotel’s teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust to develop strategies in maintaining and expanding the corporate segment and play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Present Account Portfolio and analyze the performance of each account
- Develop strategy to grow business opportunities and ensure that pipelines are continuously top up and never dries
- Work closely with local hotel’s sales executives to achieve a common strategy.
- Responsibility for all group RFP, SynXiis tenders and work closely with WHotels global sales network.
- Conduct industry research online and through telemarketing to uncover pipeline of business.
- Conduct monthly reviews and communicate outcomes on productivity, market shares, feedback to relevant SHR properties.
Requirements
- Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and organizational skills
- Required strong negotiation skills and creative in selling abilities to close business and negotiate contracts
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Will be managing hotels in both Australia and New Zealand.
- Position will be based in Australia
