Job Overview

Manage Portfolio of hotels and work closely with various stakeholders, General Managers and all property level Revenue Managers. Sets and implements  Revenue Management strategies for all areas of revenue, to include but not limit to Rooms including MICE. Ensure revenue maximization is achieved across departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and develop strong develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support with proactive delivery of revenue management strategies
  • Develop annual business and budget plan – collate historical, current data (including competitors report) to support plan development and to verify market positioning, in order to achieve highest REVPAR possible.
  • Manage the distribution cost by analyzing, retaining or re-negotiating contracts with vendors and third parties.
  • Work with property-based and corporate support teams to insure proper controls are in place to achieve budgeted and forecast GOP
  • Monitor performance of revenue stream of all Stamford properties
  • Complete Month End Report with Analysis and attend Business Reviews with group management to review monthly P & L and agree and revise strategies moving forward.
  • Revenue strategies are set and communicated so that the availability of rates within all Hotels taking into account rate, room type and length of stay in order to maximize revenues can be managed. This also includes F&B and MICE.
  • Commercial responsibility for all properties revenues are achieved by utilizing a proactive strategy to recommend changes, set pricing, and develop a clear understanding of all revenue related statistics
  • Have a clear understanding of all revenue related statistics of properties including competitor trends, length of stay, reservation and cancellation lead time, and market trends that includes the seasonal impact
  • Develop short term action plans and long range planning for new programs and strategies that impact all the hotels on the existing corporate directed goals and any new goals that are created.
  • Effectively manage the people resources of the area to meet the needs of the organization including career development.
  • Actively and tactically manage the performance of Revenue Managers/ Analyst with General Managers.
  • Champion training and continuous development within the team to ensure succession planning, and a culture that exceeds the very best the industry has to offer.
  • Analyze the performance of Sales & Marketing teams at hotel s level and corporate and drive the Sales & Marketing teams to the right business mix as per business plan.
  • Set, attend all Revenue Meetings and support the hotel-based teams.
  • Audit and monitor manual or automated yield system and validate that the yield actions are consistent with property and market conditions.
  • Maintain and, where possible, improve upon the current and historical performance of the business with regard to financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction and legal compliance.
  • Audit the revenue management practices and yield management software and make recommendation for changes if any.
  • Keep up to date with global, local and environmental issues impacting cities and hotels.

Requirements

  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role in a fast paced that evolve high growth environment
  • Tertiary/Bachelor Qualification in Hospitality, Business or related discipline in Revenue Management
  • Ability to be a key contributor to the development and implementation of strategic financial plans
  • High developed analytical, Ambitious, self-driven and result oriented
  • Able to deliver on assigned objectives independently, remotely and execute proactively
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage stakeholders
  • Will be managing hotels in both Australia and New Zealand.
  • Position will be based in Singapore but will require to travel from time to time when needed
